Skamlingsbanken, a beautiful nature reserve is located near Hejlsminde. The commercial town of Christiansfeld is famous all over the country for its honey cake, ornamental fireplace and salami. Kolding offers a variety of activities to experience. You can either spend a lively holiday with children or enjoy art and cultural attractions. A visit to the Trapholt Art Museum is recommended. Do also visit Koldinghus, the beautiful pedestrian streets with a cosy cafe ambience or the Kolding Storcenter with many shops under one roof for your bulk shopping. Also worth a visit is the "Legeparken" Amusement Park, which offers a variety of free pleasure rides.
