Haus Under Putz - Vacation in Architectural Monument

Vacation in Architectural Monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the Vacation in Architectural Monument foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.Public transport: SBB train to Landquart, then take the Rhaetian Railway to Schiers, from Schiers take the post bus in the direction of Pany to Putz Alte Post, then 250 metres back along the road in the direction of Schiers to the junction of the Underputzweg, then turn left 150 metres down this road to Under Putz and the houseParking: Three private outdoor parking spaces at the houseNumber of persons 4-6: A cot and high chair are available on request (up to 2 years). The house can accommodate up to six guests. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers.Season: Summer (May-October)Short holidays: NoneOutdoor space: Two covered verandas on the ground floor and first floor, space to sit in front of the house next to the old barn, opposite the well.     “Ein tolles Haus mit einer wunderbaren Atmosphäre. Positiv: Die herzlichen Gastgeber - und die sehr stilvolle Einrichtung insbesondere die Teppiche. Auch das Feuern in den beiden Kachelofen und in der Küche war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis - und immer rauchfrei. Auch die Lauben und der Ausblick sind phantastisch.”

    “Wenn man sehr alte, stilgerecht renovierte Gebäude liebt, Ruhe sucht, und zudem das Prättigau (die Bündner und das Wandern) liebt, bitte ausprobieren. Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein. FZ Positiv: Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Gret und Paul, liebenswürdiges und entgegenkommendes Paar. Jederzeit erreichbar!
    Wunderbares altes grosses Bündnerhaus, mit enormen Zimmern und schöner spartanischer Ausstattung. Nichts zu viel, aber mit allem was man braucht.
    Auch für Kinder ein idealer Ort, da sie drinnen wie draussen genügend Platz haben, und man sich keine Sorgen wegen eventuellem Autoverkehr machen muss.
    Sehr ruhiger Ort, Stille pur! Restaurant: Hofläden - Besuchen Sie alle Hofläden, in jedem hat die Bäuerin stolz etwas selber Gemachtes (Eingemachtes, Konfitüren, Honig, Bündnernusstorte oder Bündnerbirnenbrot, Käse oder Fleisch) zum Verkaufen.”

    “sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man in der Gruppe einen tollen Urlaub machen will. Positiv: Sehr großzügiges Haus mit viel Platz, sodass man gut auch mit mehreren Leuten Urlaub machen kann. Sehr schöne überdachte Terrasse mit tollem Blick, sehr nette Vermieter Negativ: WLAN etwas schwach, aber eigentlich gibt es nichts zu meckern”
